Bridal lingerie is an important part of the whole wedding experience; from the bridal shower and bachelorette party (or hen party in the U.K.), to the wedding, honeymoon and the newlywed period!
When my best friend told me she was getting married, I knew that I would be the one responsible for making sure her wedding shower was a success. Since this was a second marriage, I knew that she didn’t need all the practical things that a young couple would.
To make a spicy shower, we decided to throw a bridal lingerie shower. This proved to be a huge success with all ages, as the turnout was huge, the gifts were creative and the laughter was plentiful!

Once you select the gown, you will need to find an appropriate bra to flatter your bust while still staying in place without straps coming out. Some gowns will require a specialized strap system or a scooped bust; doing your research will help you find the perfect item, and shopping online will give you a wider range of choices.
If you want to go with a bustier, these pieces are multi-functional. Working as a bra and a girdle, many also have a garter attached. The benefit of a good bustier is that it can help shape and smooth your figure under the wedding dress.
