A Little Bit About Me
My life has been full of challenging twists and turns, from a young age. Though I was born in Portugal, my family emigrated to South Africa when I was 6 years old, so that is where I did all my schooling and growing (and, where I learned English).
I have to say that even though I was very successful at my work, it held no charm for me, and I dreamed of doing something creative, beautiful, and fun. I took courses in flower arranging, art, garden design and other areas, trying to find a better fit for my personality than managing money and people. During these years, my parents moved back to Portugal, but I stayed behind to pursue the life I had grown into. However, in 2006 I too returned to Portugal, to care for my mother. After arriving here, without my previous career option, I needed to pursue a business that I could do from home. Now that I was "choosing" a career, it had to be creative, beautiful, and fun! You always hear that you should "do something that you are passionate about." I knew I was passionate about lingerie, and have been for most of my life! I decided to build a website on the theme of lingerie, where I could finally use my creativity, and be excited to build a site that reflects far more of my personality than my business career ever did! I feel I have made a perfect choice. Now, I am building something I am proud of, that I enjoy, and that I can share with people all over the World!
